In this exclusive Masterclass with one of Australia’s most sought after design firms, David Flack (founder & director) and Mark Robinson (practice manager) will personally walk you through Flack Studio's internal design processes from inception of concept to execution on site. 

Together we will investigate the following core principles:

• The art of design doesn’t stop - design is neither career or lifestyle - it’s both.
• Finding balance within the contradiction of these competing ideas, whilst reaching design excellence.
• Creation of a process that allows for creative freedom and expression.
• Delicately and effectively managing client expectations
• Communicating a clear brand statement through your work

ABOUT FLACK STUDIO:

Established in 2014 Flack Studio is an interior architecture and design practice based in Melbourne. Our work traverses residential, hospitality and commercial environments. Flack Studio works on Australian and International projects.  

Their design style has been described as – “equal parts Gio Ponti and Vincent Van Duysen with a Dash of Dame Edna and you’ve got the Flack brand of slightly bonkers nostalgic modernism…” Yep that sounds about right. With a strong interest in materiality and a keen eye for detailing, the Flack Studio design approach is bold and elegantly masculine, with a nod to restrained, classic stateliness and offset by unexpected, light-hearted elements.

David Flack is the founder and director of Flack Studio, armed with experience and skill acquired through working in collaborative environments at some of Melbourne’s most esteemed design practices. David’s personality is allowed to influence his style – his clients welcome his approachability and ever-curious nature. David’s youth and tendency to embrace whimsy and freshness in everyday life brings a contemporary balance to his aesthetic, which is informed by a respect for the architecture and design of bygone eras, his regular travel adventures, and an appreciation of discovering unusual and beautiful things.
